FAQ
What is Aerial Hammock? - Aerial Hammock is an exercise class that incorporates strength training, balance, and stretching. In this class, we use the aerial hammock to stretch and tone. We also learn a series of poses, choreography, and sequences using the aerial hammock.
Can Anyone do Aerial?- Yes! You do not have to be a certain size or at a certain athletic level to do aerial. We will tailor the class to every student's ability and level.
What Should I Wear to Class? - We recommend wearing long pants that are easy to move in (Example - leggings/yoga pants) and a tight fitting tank top or sports bra.
Is There anything Else I Should Bring to Class?- Lots of water! We will definitely be working up a sweat!
How Many Beginner Level Classes Should I Take Before Advancing?- We recommend you take 4-6 beginner level classes before advancing or have teacher recommendation.
What is the Difference Between Aerial Silks and Aerial Hammock?- In aerial silks, the fabric is split. In aerial hammock, the fabric is looped. Aerial hammock tends to provide more support to the body, while aerial silks might require more strength in some cases. However, anyone can do both silks and hammock!
